How the board works

A trade is a promise with a paper trail.

MapleMarkets is one board for player-to-player trades. No house inventory, no middleman markup. The buyer funds crypto, the seller delivers in game, and escrow releases when the buyer confirms.

Escrow

Four steps, one protected handoff.

Every order follows the same path. The seller never sees the money until the buyer confirms the thing they paid for actually arrived.

01

The buyer funds escrow

Pick a coin, send the exact amount to the order address, and record the transaction hash. The order moves to In escrow.

02

The seller delivers

The seller sees the order is funded, meets the buyer in game, and delivers exactly what the listing promised.

03

The buyer confirms

The buyer checks the handoff and releases the escrow. The platform fee is deducted and the seller payout is credited.

04

The record grows

The completed trade counts toward the seller's reputation, and the buyer can leave a verified vouch.

If you are buying

  • Read the full listing, including the delivery window and what is not included.
  • Add the exact in-game IGN the seller should trade with.
  • Never confirm delivery before the item or service is actually in hand.
  • If something is wrong, open a dispute instead of releasing.

If you are selling

  • Do not deliver until the order status says In escrow.
  • Deliver in the window you listed, and mark the order delivered with a note.
  • Keep the trade window, room, and channel consistent with the listing.
  • Your payout is released when the buyer confirms, minus the fee.

Fees

One fee: 3.5%, seller side.

No listing fee. No subscription. No buyer markup. The fee is taken from the seller's payout when a trade completes, so posting and browsing cost nothing.

Crypto network fees are separate and are paid by the sender at checkout. The platform does not mark them up. Payout requests are sent to the wallet saved on your profile.

Crypto

Five assets. Final settlement.

The board is crypto-only. That is not a gimmick — irreversible settlement is what removes chargeback fraud from a market for digital goods.

Each order is tied to a transaction hash and a public order timeline. The preview build uses a demo escrow ledger; a production deployment would verify the hash against the stated network before releasing any funds.

Reputation

The score is a formula, not a badge.

Every profile shows the same numbers: average rating, completed trades, completion rate, disputes, and response time. The score combines them and is recalculated on every completed order.

Capped at 99. New accounts start around 50. The only way up is completed trades; the only way down is a dispute record.

Safety & FAQ

The honest version.

Player markets carry real risk. The board can make the money side safer; it cannot make in-game trading risk-free. Here is how the system handles the parts it can.

Trade safety

Use the in-game trade window, verify the character and order details, and never move the conversation to a private channel that asks for account access. No legitimate seller needs your password.

Who holds the crypto while a trade is open?

The marketplace holds the funded amount in escrow. The seller can see that the order is funded but cannot withdraw it. The buyer's release — or a dispute resolution — is the only thing that moves the funds to the seller.

What does the 3.5% fee cover?

The fee covers escrow, dispute handling, and running the board. It is deducted from the seller's payout when the trade completes. Buyers pay the listed price plus the crypto network fee; there is no listing fee or subscription.

What happens if the seller does not deliver?

Open a dispute from the order room before releasing the funds. Escrow freezes and the order is reviewed against the listing, the delivery note, and the timeline. If the delivery did not happen, the buyer is refunded.

Can I change the price or details after posting?

Pause the listing, archive it, and post a corrected one. Open orders keep the terms they were created with. This keeps the record honest for both sides.

Do you support fiat?

No. The board is crypto-only by design: USDT on TRC20, USDC and SOL on Solana, BTC, and ETH. Crypto settlement is final, which is what makes an escrow market for digital goods workable.

Is this affiliated with Nexon?

No. MapleMarkets is an independent player marketplace. Trading virtual items may violate the game's terms of service; every trader makes their own decision about that risk.
